Olujide Malomo
Olujide Malomo attended the Egba Divisional Teachers' College Abeokuta , and then joined (WNTV-WNBS) later known as NTA, Africa 's first T.V Station. He rose to become the TV producer in 1970. He received his first degree from University of Ife-Ife (now known as Obafemi Awolowo Universit) from where he proceeded to join the services of the University of Ibadan. Dr. Malomo obtained his Masters in Theater and Dramatic Arts from Brooklyn college, New York and his PhD from the University of Ibadan.

Dr. Jide Malomo, media arts scholar, theatre manager rose to become Senior lecturer and later Head of the Department of Theater Arts, University of Ibadan , the first department of Theatre Arts in Africa .

An academic who believed in thoroughness and high standards of education, he was a teacher and trainer at all levels of education.
As president and later a Fellow of the Society of Nigerian Theater Artists, Dr. Malomo directed hundreds of plays and films including those of Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka. Dr. Malomo was the Managing Director of Unibadan Performing Company. Dr. Timothy Olujide Malomo was also winner of the Canadian Commonwealth fellowship, Augustana College , Canada and has taught media, drama, arts, communications and culture at Northwestern University in Chicago, The Sojourner/Douglass College in Baltimore , USA and more recently at Babcock University , Ogun State , Nigeria . He also served as Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

A devout Christian who lived a balanced life, he was the immediate past president of the Men Christian League, All Souls Church Bodija Ibadan where he has worshiped with his family for over 35 years.

Dr. Olujide Malomo was happily married to Bamidele and they are blessed with five children, Kunle, Kemi, Kofo, Kayode and Abosede and two grand-children, Ifeoluwa and Damilola. He is also blessed with four sons and daughter’s in-law, Sola, Wole, Bola and Monisola.
He would be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues.
